Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is now available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S through the PlayStation and Xbox stores. Netmarble confirmed the console release on November 4, following the premium action RPG’s PC launch in November 2025.

The publisher’s schedule placed availability at 4 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on November 3, equivalent to midnight UTC on November 4. Those dates describe the same launch moment in different time zones. The new console editions cost $39.99 for Standard or $44.99 for Deluxe in the announced US pricing.

Building a version of Sung Jinwoo

ARISE OVERDRIVE follows the Solo Leveling webtoon’s protagonist from his weak E-Rank beginnings toward his role as the Monarch of Shadows. Netmarble describes an adaptation that combines familiar story material with chapters created for the game, rather than a strictly scene-for-scene reproduction.

The official game description identifies a skill tree that branches into eight job advancements. Weapon selection and combinations of skills change the fighting style, while Extreme Evasion and timed parries provide ways to respond actively to enemy attacks. Those systems sit alongside character statistics, so progression is not presented solely as increasing damage numbers.

Monarch Awakening unlocks further abilities tied to Jinwoo’s transformation. The weapon-crafting system uses materials obtained from defeated enemies, with examples drawn from the webtoon including Kasaka’s Venom Fang and the Demon King’s Daggers. This creates a connection between combat rewards and the equipment available for subsequent encounters.

Raids and story have different roles

The game supports four-player cooperative raids against powerful Commanders. Its description allows players to fight as Jinwoo or with other Hunters, giving the broader cast a role in combat beyond the protagonist’s personal story.

Netmarble’s original PC launch announcement distinguishes Story Mode, where players customize Jinwoo’s appearance, skills and style, from cooperative boss challenges and Hunter recruitment. That distinction is useful for console newcomers: the four-player feature concerns raids, and the announcement does not establish that the entire narrative campaign can be played cooperatively.

The PC version was released on Steam and Xbox PC on November 24, 2025. “Xbox PC” in that earlier announcement referred to the PC release; the November 2026 news is the actual arrival on Xbox Series hardware, alongside PS5.

What the Deluxe price adds

The console launch announcement names an exclusive Jinwoo costume, a Cha Hae-In emoji set and additional items for Deluxe. The established Steam Deluxe description further lists cosmetic options such as a face accessory, hairstyles and profile decorations, along with a Yaruru helper that gathers resources and picks up items.

The core action RPG is included in Standard. Deluxe is an extras package, and the launch statement does not identify a separate story campaign exclusive to that edition. Neither the new release announcement nor the cited product description establishes cross-platform save transfer or a particular console performance mode, so those should not be assumed from the existence of the PC version.
