Privacy policy
This policy explains how Gingsul operates Gingsul at gingsul.com and handles information associated with the website. For privacy questions or requests, contact our contact form.
Information you provide
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use them to respond to your inquiry, assess corrections or rights requests, and maintain necessary correspondence. The form sends messages to the publication’s mailbox; it does not create a separate public profile or newsletter subscription.
Please do not submit passwords, payment details, identity documents or other sensitive personal information. We may request limited additional information when necessary to verify a rights request.
Technical information
The hosting service and infrastructure providers may process technical records such as IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information and requested URLs to deliver and protect the site. Access to those records and their retention depend on the service configuration.
The contact form uses a temporary, keyed hash derived from a visitor’s connection address to limit abusive submissions. This rate-limit record expires after an hour without another accepted submission. The site can store a light or dark display preference in your browser. That preference is used for appearance, not advertising.
Advertising and cookies
If Google AdSense advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize advertising based on visits to this and other sites.
You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center. Information about participating advertising providers and opt-outs is also available at AboutAds. Google’s handling of information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Where required, a consent management interface provides choices before optional advertising storage or processing. You may change or withdraw choices through the privacy controls made available on the site. Refusing personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all advertising. Browser settings can also restrict or delete cookies, though some site functions may be affected.
Purposes and legal grounds
We process correspondence to respond to requests and manage the publication, and technical information to deliver a secure website. Depending on the applicable law, these activities may rely on legitimate interests, steps requested by you or legal obligations. Optional advertising processing relies on consent where required. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Sharing and international processing
Information may be processed by hosting, email, security, consent-management and advertising providers needed to operate the site. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security. We do not sell the content of private contact messages to advertisers.
Some advertising disclosures can be considered a sale or sharing of personal information under certain local laws. Where those laws apply, use the relevant privacy controls or contact us to exercise available choices. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to applicable requirements and contractual safeguards.
Retention
We retain correspondence while needed to resolve an inquiry and complete necessary follow-up, and longer where a legal obligation or unresolved dispute requires it. Temporary form rate-limit data expires as described above. Hosting logs, mailbox records and advertising data follow the retention settings and purposes of their respective systems. You may contact us about deletion of information you supplied.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising uses. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact our contact form to make a request. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information.
Children
This publication is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so it can be reviewed and, where appropriate, deleted.
