PowerWash Simulator 2’s Barbie Pack will launch on December 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. FuturLab has set the paid add-on’s price at $7.99, £6.50 and €7.99, depending on region.

The pack contains five cleaning jobs inspired by Barbie locations, vehicles and accessories. FuturLab’s release announcement also confirms a new text-message storyline, ten achievements or trophies, and a Barbie-themed outfit. PowerWash Simulator 2 is required; the pack is not a standalone game.

The Dream Camper opens up as the job progresses

A developer breakdown of the first job gives a more concrete look at how the toy setting affects the cleaning. The Dream Camper sits on Willows Way in Malibu, with 100 PowerWash Points listed as the job’s total earnings. Players use the professional-duty Dream Washer or Dream Surface Cleaner, with a step stool and several types of ladder provided.

Finishing the camper’s exterior does not finish the entire assignment. The vehicle opens to reveal another stage and more surfaces to wash. Doors and fittings can also be interacted with, including the oven and refrigerator. Players will need to inspect the opened playset rather than assume the first visible shell represents the whole level.

The mess includes glitter caught in jelly, cake residue, mud and slime. Ducks, hedgehogs and rabbits move around the surrounding area while the work continues. These are details from the developer’s preview, rather than observations from a hands-on session.

A washer designed to look like a toy

The equipment development post describes a new pink suit and tools modeled with manufacturing seams, stickers and plastic textures. The design is intended to make the washer itself resemble an accessory that belongs with the playsets.

The announced kit includes short, long and extra-long extensions, a surface cleaner and the usual color-coded standard nozzles. Turbo, Double Turbo, Adaptable, Soap and Trident attachments are also listed. That range gives the themed equipment several cleaning functions, rather than limiting the change to the character’s clothing.

The broader pack description highlights the DreamHouse, Dream Boat and Dream Camper, including a rideable DreamHouse elevator. It also advertises an abseiling kit and scissor lift for reaching surfaces at different heights. The announcement establishes their availability in these jobs, without presenting every traversal tool as an entirely new feature of the sequel.

Sharing the cleaning

The jobs can be played alone, with two players in split-screen, or by a group of up to four in Free Play. Those are distinct modes: the four-player figure should not be read as a promise of four-player split-screen.

For returning players, the most specific addition is the combination of recognizable plastic playsets and staged cleaning spaces. The Dream Camper preview demonstrates how a job can reveal another layer after an exterior is complete, while the message-based story carries the pack through its five assignments.
