Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score, composed by French electronic duo Justice, will be released on December 11. Rockstar’s announcement covers major music-streaming services, CD and vinyl, with “Pusher,” featuring Gesaffelstein, available ahead of the full collection.

The score release follows the game’s scheduled November 19 arrival on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. December 11 is a music date, not a revised date for the game. It is also separate from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, another music release scheduled for November 19.

Updated November 6: Pusher is an additional preview from the score, not its first publicly revealed track.

What Justice’s score contains

In the official score announcement, Rockstar identifies Justice as Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay and describes their work as an adaptive score. Its compositions respond to how players engage with Vice City and the wider state of Leonida during Jason and Lucia’s story.

The standalone collection contains 30 tracks drawn from that material. Named pieces include “Flower in a Hurricane,” featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, which appeared in the launch trailer. “Pusher” supplies a further preview rather than being the only music already revealed from the project.

Rockstar also says digital bonus tracks are included across formats. Physical options include a limited triple crystal-clear vinyl edition, while the reported standard configurations are two CDs or three vinyl records. The announcement does not turn the collection into a complete inventory of every song that can be heard during play.

Score, album and radio are different parts of the soundtrack

The distinction matters because Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is a separately announced release. Rockstar describes that project as a collection of 34 original tracks by a range of artists, with streaming, CD and vinyl editions. Its November date aligns with the game; Justice’s score collection follows in December.

In-game radio is another component. The October radio preview names six stations: Cocoteo FM for modern Latin music, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, the metal-focused Chamber 106.6, pop station Flash FM and Dirty South Classics for Southern rap and hip-hop. They are a preview selection, not a claim that the game contains only six stations.

Rockstar has also announced on-demand podcasts and the ability to hear radio and podcasts both in vehicles and on foot through the protagonists’ smartphone-connected headphones or earbuds. That describes how characters access music within the game, whereas the December release is a fixed collection listeners can play independently.

For anyone following the music rollout, the concrete schedule is therefore two album dates with different contents. The game and multi-artist album are planned for November 19; the Justice score arrives December 11, with selected tracks already available to sample.
