NIKKE’s fourth anniversary adds Marian: Queen and two story chapters

GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE’s fourth-anniversary update launched on October 29 for PC, iOS and Android, bringing Marian: Queen, a new event story and the next two main-campaign chapters. The celebration continues in stages, with a second wave starting November 5 rather than every character, costume and reward arriving together on launch day.

Level Infinite’s launch announcement positions Chapters 49 and 50 around the Third Surface Recapture War. The conflict concludes the Underground Ark storyline while preparing the next phase of the game’s narrative. For returning players, these are advanced main-story chapters; the separate anniversary activities should not be mistaken for a shortcut past campaign progression.

Marian and the anniversary recruits

The MARIA-n event follows Marian through a research facility and her first steps across the surface. Its fully voiced story sits alongside Fading Affection, a branching text-based activity built around memories. They offer different forms of narrative participation rather than additional numbered campaign chapters.

Marian: Queen is the opening Special Recruit character. The published patch-note mirror identifies her as a Fire attacker using a machine gun, with repeated multi-target attacks and a Burst that strengthens her offensive capabilities. Her banner runs until November 19 at 04:59 UTC+9. Scarlet: Goddeath follows from November 5 until November 26 at the same daily cutoff, using a Fire assault-rifle kit focused on piercing attacks.

Those different end dates matter when allocating recruitment resources. The event’s overall anniversary branding does not give every recruitment banner an identical deadline. The notes also distinguish the daily free Special Recruit attempts from normal paid or voucher attempts: the free attempts do not award Gold Mileage Tickets.

Free characters, music and progression

Rapunzel: Sanctuary is the anniversary’s free SSR character. The publisher’s earlier reveal says up to four copies can be earned through the events. Selection boxes offer choices that include Rapunzel: Sanctuary, Chime, Rapunzel: Pure Grace and Snow White: Innocent Days, making their contents relevant to both new collections and existing accounts.

The advertised maximum of 259 free recruitment attempts is spread across the celebration. It is not a single unrestricted bundle granted immediately on installation. Daily participation and the individual reward activities are therefore part of reaching the advertised total; players should separate that headline maximum from the rewards already available in their account.

The Stellar Blade collaboration adds 22 tracks to TRACING THE STARS, four of which are free. Its music content is separate from the new character costumes: Marian’s Last Affection and Snow White: Heavy Arms’ Lacrimosa are costume-gacha offerings, while other outfits use passes.

Beyond the celebration, the update adds Spanish text support and expands several longer-term systems. The patch notes include Synchro Boost progression and increased tower limits, alongside additional Lost Sectors. These changes give established players activities beyond the anniversary’s recruitment and story schedule.
