Zenless Zone Zero starts double rewards for Area Patrol

Zenless Zone Zero’s Advanced Bounty: Area Patrol event began November 4 at 04:00 and ends November 9 at 03:59, using server time. It doubles eligible Area Patrol rewards during a short window within Version 3.3, Journey to the Sky, rather than extending the bonus across the whole update.

The official version notes require Inter-Knot Level 21, completion of the Reputation Rank-Up Mission Path of the Proxy I and an unlocked Area Patrol mode. Reaching the account level alone is not sufficient if the rank-up mission or mode access is still outstanding.

The separate event-detail report, linked to HoYoverse’s notice, specifies two boosted challenges per day, resetting at 04:00 server time. That makes this a daily allowance rather than unlimited doubled farming. Players who participate across all five daily windows can use ten boosted clears; players arriving partway through have fewer windows remaining.

A shorter deadline than the surrounding events

Area Patrol finishes before several other Version 3.3 activities. Cyber Miracle Healer remains scheduled until November 16, while the seven-day All-New Program login campaign runs until December 1 at 03:59. A new Combat Simulation double-reward event is scheduled for November 25–30, with a different mode-unlock condition.

Those dates are useful when organizing a limited play session: the current Area Patrol bonus expires first, even though other reward icons remain available. The later Combat Simulation event does not extend or replace unused Area Patrol opportunities. Server time also means that a player’s local date can differ from the date shown in the schedule.

Where the bonus sits in Version 3.3

HoYoverse’s version preview places the main story around the lockdown of Roscaelifer and an infiltration through Quietude Isle. Phoenix and Severian, initially at odds, become central to that operation. The update introduces Bangboo Mech combat with both ranged and melee actions, broadening the action beyond the usual Agent encounters.

Phoenix is a Fire Anomaly Agent whose Nirvana mechanic lets subsequent Anomaly damage critically hit affected enemies. Severian follows as a Wind Attack Agent with automatic-dodge and counterattack interactions. Their releases are staggered, so the Area Patrol event overlaps the first recruitment phase rather than the entire new-character schedule.

The Phase I channel notice ends Phoenix and Velina’s featured channels on November 11 at 11:59 server time. Their audition stages share that deadline, allowing eligible players to try the characters separately from recruiting them. The notice also distinguishes Exclusive Channel guarantee counts from W-Engine Channel counts; the two categories do not share one combined total.

For returning players, the immediate sequence is concrete: finish any outstanding Area Patrol unlock steps, use the available daily reward bonuses before November 9 and treat November 11 as the separate deadline for the opening character trials and channels.
