Honkai: Star Rail 4.7 brings Aha into battle on November 11

Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.7 will launch on November 11, with Aeon ★ Aha joining the playable roster as the Planarcadia storyline approaches its finale. The update, Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars, also introduces a separate enhancement system for three existing five-star characters, giving established accounts another decision beyond whether to recruit the new arrival.

In the official preview, the threatened awakening of the Voracity drives the Final Phantasmoon Games. Aha assembles eight Supplicants aboard the cake-like Starfroster, using the ship as part of a plan to lure the creature. This is presented as the conclusion of the current arc, so the setup contains consequences for the main story rather than only an isolated event premise.

Aha changes how Elation teams operate

Aha is a limited five-star character on the Path of Elation. Their abilities unlock additional effects for other Elation characters, while Aha Instant accelerates the performance of Elation Skills. Team actions accumulate Wishpower for an Ultimate that damages all enemies, and Aha’s authority also allows allied attacks to reduce enemy maximum HP.

Those mechanics point toward a team-wide role. The useful question for an existing account is therefore not only whether Aha can deal damage, but which Elation characters would benefit from the new interactions.

The first half brings back Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie and Yao Guang. Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan return in the second half. The latter three are also the first recipients of Affinitive Eidolons, which unlock additional character-specific abilities.

Returning characters and rewards

The special-program recap reports that players can select one of those three characters and one Affinitive Eidolon for free during the update, with materials to raise the chosen character to level 60. This matters for players who do not already own the full trio: a free character choice and a character-enhancement choice are related decisions, rather than two interchangeable rewards.

The recap also details two incoming Planar Ornament sets. God’s Moment of Joy adds Speed and an opening action advance when its Elation condition is met; Subspace ASC Center adds Speed and can raise the team’s Break Effect once its Speed threshold is reached. These sets serve different build priorities, so their common Speed bonus does not make them substitutes for one another.

Away from equipment, Currency Wars begins its second season, Voyage Into the Canvas. The update includes a dessert-shop activity and a combat event, while the Star Lotto outfit for Aha uses a separate draw event. That cosmetic event offers an initial free draw, but subsequent attempts use Fashion Invites at increasing costs. A free first attempt should therefore not be read as a guaranteed free outfit.

Version 4.7 is scheduled for the game’s PC, PS5, iOS and Android versions.
