Tales of Tuscany will launch on February 2, 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android. Top Hat Studios is publishing Nico Papalia’s follow-up to Athenian Rhapsody, the developer’s 2024 RPG.

In the release-date post, Papalia says the extra time is being used for quality assurance, including checking how Japanese, Chinese and Italian text displays. The decision moves launch beyond the holidays while those checks are completed. The post also confirms that players will be able to bring their Athenian Rhapsody records into the new game to view them together.

A destroyed village and a choice about its future

Players control Lambypoo, a sheep whose home is destroyed by the wizard Thunder Goober. Lambypoo’s scattered cousins can be rescued and returned to the village, helping rebuild its facilities. Meanwhile, experience leaking into the region is making its inhabitants stronger and more unstable.

Fighting is one route through that world, but most enemies can instead be befriended. Recruits have their own statistics, personalities and BURST skills, and differently colored shiny variants can appear. Certain special bosses are exceptions to the recruitment rule.

The game’s feature description also presents encounters that change format, including pumpkin carving, a wave-pool challenge and paperwork. Outside battle, Lambypoo’s bleat can affect objects and uncover items or money. Village improvements connect the rescued relatives to practical changes in the overworld.

What survives the end of a run

At the end of a playthrough, a customizable postcard called a Rhapsody records choices, statistics and an in-game photograph. Players can decorate and exchange these records across platforms. The shared object is the record of an adventure; this is not an announcement of a cooperative campaign or cross-platform save continuation.

A separate development update describes the RhapsoDex, an enemy-information booklet that persists between playthroughs. It gives repeat runs another continuing record beyond the final postcard, with the possibility of eventually completing the enemy catalogue.

The same update introduces a Swap Characters modifier that lets a recruitable character replace Lambypoo, plus an in-game achievement interface and revised control prompts. Characters have their own bleat sprites, allowing the recruited cast to participate in that recurring action.

Optional features on the PC side

The Steam description lists challenge modifiers such as one-HP and no-friends runs. It also describes optional Twitch integration, through which viewers can appear in the game and influence events. These are features described for the PC presentation; the release announcement does not establish identical streaming integration on every console or mobile version.

For players with Athenian Rhapsody installed on Steam, the development update also describes a Cornball-inspired outfit for Lambypoo. That is a specific ownership-and-installation connection, separate from the broader ability to preserve and view earlier Rhapsodies in the sequel.
