Xbox’s first November Game Pass announcement combines new releases with additions to existing subscription tiers. Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School joins on November 5, Warhammer Survivors on November 10 and Thronefall on November 11, but they do not all have the same membership requirements.
The official lineup places Escape Academy 2 and Warhammer Survivors in Ultimate and PC Game Pass at launch. Thronefall also includes Premium. All three list cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC availability; handheld support is identified separately in the announcement.
Three different kinds of game
Escape Academy 2 expands the first game’s room-by-room puzzle format into a connected campus. The developer’s description includes passageways, hidden tunnels and side quests between the main escape-room challenges, with a new mystery about the school’s founding.
It can be played alone or cooperatively, including online play and local split screen. An optional No-Timer Mode removes the usual deadline pressure, making it a specific accessibility and pacing choice rather than a change to the puzzles’ basic subject matter. New students do not need to interpret “Back 2 School” as a requirement to have completed the original game; the sequel introduces a new campaign.
Warhammer Survivors instead uses the movement, upgrades and crowded battles of the survivors genre. Auroch Digital is developing it in partnership with poncle, with characters from Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar. The studio’s release-date announcement also details a separate demo featuring the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Ravenya.
Demo progress will not transfer to the full release. Auroch lists a $7.99 US purchase price, with regional and platform variation, so the Game Pass addition is an access option alongside buying the game. It is not a free-to-play announcement.
Thronefall provides a slower planning loop: players build an economy and defenses during daylight, then defend the settlement at night. Its inclusion in Premium gives that tier a strategy addition even when the same wave’s day-one titles require another plan.
Tier changes are not always new game launches
Vampire Crawlers joins Premium on November 4, and Aphelion follows on November 17. Football Manager 2027 Console arrives November 10, while the PC Football Manager 27 entry is listed for November 3. These dates refer to different products or access changes, not a single synchronized launch.
Xbox’s day-one explanation says that benefit belongs to Ultimate and PC Game Pass, rather than Premium or Essential. Individual catalog announcements remain the relevant guide to a particular title, since a game can arrive in a lower tier later.
Essential gains several older games on November 15, including Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark and Viva Piñata. The same date also removes titles from the wider catalog, including 1000xRESIST, GoldenEye 007 and Wreckfest. A game joining one tier and another leaving the service are separate changes, so November’s calendar has both new opportunities and unfinished-game deadlines.
