Enshrouded’s November 4 hotfix, version 1.0.1.2, fixes pinned crafting recipes and several ways a world could crash or fail to open. Keen Games identifies the build as 1287369, giving players a more precise reference than simply saying they have installed a post-launch update.
The Hotfix #5 notes describe four stability cases: a rare crash involving water, crashes caused by deprecated items and blueprints, and a very rare endless black screen when entering certain worlds. Recipes should also retain their pinned state. This release is a focused repair update, with no new biome or campaign chapter announced.

Three November updates have different jobs
The latest hotfix follows Patch 1.0.1.0 on November 2 and Hotfix 1.0.1.1 on November 3. Their nearby version numbers can obscure the distinction between a gameplay adjustment and a correction to a problem introduced or uncovered during that work.
The November 3 release, build 1285601, restored voice-over volume, prevented loot and harvesting sounds from playing to everyone in a multiplayer session, and corrected malformed-looking voxel-wall textures. It also addressed a water-simulation crash and repeated log errors that affected performance. Those fixes belong to the preceding release, rather than the five-item November 4 changelog.
For someone returning after several days, this chronology explains why the experience may have changed in several ways at once. A restored voice level, a different wand resource cost and a recipe remaining pinned do not all come from the same individual fix.
Combat changes came with the larger patch
The November 2 patch keeps bosses engaged for longer when attacked at range, reducing cases where they start healing while still under fire. It also fixes summon targeting against the Wispwyvern and its undead counterpart.
Wand shots can no longer be accelerated through repeated blocking animation cancels. Aerial Wand Attack now consumes 40 mana instead of stamina, while Wand Evasion Attack costs less mana. These changes affect how a spell-focused character plans a fight, particularly if an older build relied on the former cancel or resource behavior.
Keyboard-and-mouse users also gain a sprint toggle. Other changes concern interfaces and base management, including improved sorting for factories and a clearer indication when building Finetune Mode is active.
Migration failures need a different diagnosis
On PC, the larger patch fixes several save-conversion errors and raises the migration memory allowance for worlds containing unusually many player bases. Keen specifically asks players whose migration previously failed to try again with the updated version.
That is separate from the latest hotfix’s world-entry black screen. A problem converting an Early Access world, a crash after bringing in an old item and a recipe losing its pin occur at different stages. Reporting which action triggers the problem is more useful than describing all of them as a save failure.
Keen’s current reporting route is the in-game F1 menu and its bug-report option. Include the installed version and the steps that reproduce the issue, particularly whether it happens during migration or after entering an already functioning world. That gives the developers a clear starting point within this sequence of updates.
